Ball Chair was a great work of Eero Aarnio, a Finnish modernistic design master in 1963. The creations designed from him usually give a sense of future. Among them, Ball Chair is the most proud work as he says.
Inside of it is soft cushion upholstered in wool fabric/ leather, available in various colors. While external is glossy in white OR black only. Setting inside, the special ball shape isolates the outside world, for that it get a name as “a room within a room” . A mobile ball is fastened on a motionless base, showing both dynamic and static, rated the wonderful art in furniture line at that time.
