"A chair should have no backside. It should be beautiful from all sides and angles." Hans Wegner

Wegner’s CH445 Wing Chair (1960) was put into production in 2006, first appearing at the IMM Cologne furniture fair, where it won a classic innovation award for its timeless appeal.

Like other of his famous designs, glyptic lines allow it to stand on its own in a variety of settings. In the middle of Wegner's easy chairs, the Wing chair is remarkable for the harmony and serenity of its design. Its most representative features are the shoulder groove and chair back's distinctive corner angle. The wings provide perfect support for your back and afford freedom of movement and multiple sitting postures.

Built around a solid wood frame with metal legs in polished stainless steel the chair is available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers.

It is an exceptionally comfortable upholstered easy chair that can be used as a centerpiece in a room or in groups.
